Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• New York State LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC license strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of supervisory/administrative experience in behavioral health.
• Experience with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and complex needs.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, billing, clinical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage priorities, and support high-quality services.
• Valid New York driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and provide after-hours support.

Unity House of Troy, Inc. is seeking an experienced, compassionate Program Director of Behavioral Health Services to lead our team and oversee clinical operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated behavioral health professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage competing priorities, and support high-quality clinical services.
• Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation.
