Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Plano, TX invites a Program Director to supervise the treatment program, facility, staff and clients. You will coordinate with leadership to ensure services align with the mission and values, while maintaining quality and staff development.

The role involves overseeing staffing, training, therapy delivery, and collaboration with operations to support client care and program growth. On-site work with potential travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or doctorate preferred in Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• A current and valid LMFT or LMSW or PhD or PsyD or LPC or LCSW or MFTI or RD or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two years' experience in administration or management of mental health programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the program to ensure quality and initiate improvements.
• Supervise weekly Treatment Team Meetings to ensure effective communication and a team approach.
• Participate in the interview process to determine staff qualifications.
• Provide bi-monthly in-service trainings to all Professional and Counseling treatment staff.
• Arrange coverage of all shifts and adjust staffing to census.
• Maintain a client caseload and provide individual and family therapy.
• Support Discovery in Recovery and Parent/Alumni Groups.
