Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Director to supervise the treatment program, facility, staff and clients in Addison, TX. You will consult executive leadership to ensure services align with the organization’s mission and values, while upholding clinical quality and client outcomes.

The role requires oversight of treatment teams, staff development, and ensuring proper utilization reviews, with on-site leadership Monday–Friday and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years' administration or management experience in mental health programs.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program aspects to ensure quality and lead improvements as needed.
• Supervise weekly Treatment Team Meetings for effective communication and client progress.
• Participate in candidate interviews to assess suitability and qualifications.
• Provide bi-monthly in-service trainings to professional/counseling staff.
• Evaluate staff performance with annual and first-three-month reviews.
• Ensure staffing coverage for shifts and adjust to census changes.
• Maintain a positive role model demeanor for staff, residents, and guests.
• Maintain client caseload appropriate to census and provide individual/family therapy.

Education

Masters or Doctorate in related field

LMFT/LMSW or equivalent license
