Behavioral Health Group - BHG in Staunton, VA is seeking a committed Program Director to lead our addiction treatment clinic. You will supervise clinical and administrative staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality patient-centered care from admission through ongoing treatment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call, a salary of $75,000–$80,000 per year, strong work-life balance, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Must have 2-3 years of management experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional certifications or licensure related to the role.
• Experience managing substance use disorder treatment programs.
• Leadership experience overseeing operations, compliance, safety, accreditation, and quality of care.
• Experience serving economically and culturally diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and leadership across admission through ongoing treatment.
• Oversee key clinical and operational functions and coordinate with partners.
• Foster a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Address patient concerns and grievances with professionalism.
• Respond to urgent occupational issues, including after-hours situations.
• Monitor program performance and analyze operational metrics to improve outcomes.
• Manage revenue collection and oversee expenditures within budget.
• Develop staff schedules balancing patient needs and efficiency.
