Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • LMSW, LCSW or LMHC license/certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical staff including hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, discipline and terminations.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Nassau County Legal agencies.
  • Ensure goals and objectives of the Re-Entry Grant are met and data is reported timely.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and update policies/procedures as needed.
  • Provide staff training on job responsibilities and ensure regulatory compliance.

You Will Have Responsibilities Including But Not Limited To
  • Responsible for management of the clinical staff; including their hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, discipline, and terminations.

Qualifications

  • LMSW, LCSW or LMHC
Required Experience
  • Minimum five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This job is a hybrid position, working between an office, Nassau County Jail, and other community sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
