Job summary

PALS, Inc. in Pomona, CA seeks an experienced Program Director to lead our adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities program.

As the program's first Director, you will shape the culture, growth, and success while guiding a dedicated, trauma-informed team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure person-centered services, and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, Regional Centers, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in management within human services or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise DSPs and program staff.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, compliance, and service coordination.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered services focused on individual goals and well-being.
• Foster a trauma-informed, supportive workplace culture.
• Partner with families, healthcare providers, Regional Centers, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and PALS policies.
• Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment.

PALS, Inc. is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead our specialized Pomona program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and restricted health conditions. As the program's first Director, you will help shape the program's culture, growth, and success while leading a dedicated, trauma-informed team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise DSPs and program staff.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, compliance, and service coordination.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered services that support individual goals and well-being.
• Foster a positive, supportive workplace culture through effective leadership and communication.
• Partner with families, healthcare providers, Regional Centers, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Social Services regulations and PALS policies.
• Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of management experience in human services, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of person-centered services and regulatory compliance preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM
