Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Program Director to provide leadership, oversight, and compliance for MH/IDD services. This role reports to the Senior Program Director and will coordinate with external agencies while ensuring regulatory standards and quality of care.

The position requires a graduate degree in a related field, at least one year of supervision/management experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in psychiatry, social work, psychology, nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year supervision/management experience in mental health.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program and employees in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor delivery of services to maintain quality of care.
  • Oversee incident management and follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with training requirements for staff.
  • Approve leaves and schedule overtime; coordinate staffing needs.
  • Serve as primary representative to outside agencies.
  • Develop program budget and monitor financial growth.
  • Supervise location operations and program policies.
  • Interview and hire employees; plan, manage and direct work.
  • Provide training, supervision, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain professional contacts to build networks supporting program goals.
  • Identify problems and provide timely feedback; ensure trauma-informed environment.
  • Oversee billing and manage referrals; provide program outcomes reports.
  • Consult with psychiatrists or delegated professionals on clinical issues.
  • Participate in QM activities; coordinate program policy with organizational goals.

The Program Director is a member of the company’s leadership and is a resource person for Mental Health (MH) or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services. The Program Director is a member of other operating committees as assigned.The Program Director reports directly to the Senior Program Director or designee.Schedule: FT (40 hrs) Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with flexibility to meet the needs of the program and on-call responsibilities.Wage Information:$70,000.00 annually.Job Description:Manages program and employees in compliance with company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards.Monitors delivery of services to maintain quality of care.Oversees incident management and follow-up.Ensures compliance with regulations related to employee qualifications and training requirements.Approves employee leaves and schedules and authorizes or assigns overtime.Serves as a primary representative to all outside agencies.Develops program budget and monitors financial growth of program.Supervises location operations and oversees program policies and procedures.Interviews and hires employees and plans, manages, and directs work of employees.Oversees program employees to provide quality training, supervision, coaching, performance management, and guidance.Ability to establish, build and sustain professional contacts for the purpose of building networks of people with similar goals that support similar interests.Ability to identify and address problems and provide feedback as needed.
