Position Summary

The Program & Digital Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in advancing Move2STL's mission to attract and retain talent in the St. Louis region. This position combines digital communications, program operations, candidate engagement, data management, and technology to support the continued growth of one of the region's workforce initiatives.

The Program & Digital Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in advancing Move2STL's mission to attract and retain talent in the St. Louis region. This position combines digital communications, program operations, candidate engagement, data management, and technology to support the continued growth of one of the region's workforce initiatives.

Working closely with the Director-Move2STL, the Coordinator helps manage the systems, communications, and operational processes that guide prospective candidates from initial interest through relocation. This position also supports employer engagement, maintains program data, develops digital content, and identifies opportunities to improve workflows through technology and AI-assisted tools.

This is not a traditional marketing position. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, improving systems, learning new technology, and taking ownership of projects while contributing to a mission-driven organization. As the Move2STL initiative continues to grow, this position offers opportunities for increased responsibility, professional development, and expanded leadership based on performance and organizational needs.

This position is responsible for upholding the International Institute's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

Details Of Responsibilities
(25%) Digital Content & Community Engagement

This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Develop and manage digital content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Create graphics, videos, and marketing materials using Canva and similar design tools.
  • Draft newsletters, email campaigns, and digital communications.
  • Repurpose program updates, success stories, employer partnerships, and candidate experiences into engaging content.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements to increase awareness, qualified leads, and community engagement.
  • Assist with maintaining consistent branding across all digital platforms.
(30%) Program Operations, Systems & Technology

This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate candidate, employer, and partner information within program databases and spreadsheets.
  • Organize and maintain resource guides, shared drives, templates, and program documentation.
  • Support implementation of workflow improvements, automation tools, and AI-assisted processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and streamline program operations.
  • Document operational procedures to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with testing and implementing new technologies that support program growth.
(20%) Candidate & Partner Communication

This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective Move2STL participants.
  • Respond to candidate and partner inquiries through email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Coordinate candidate follow-up, scheduling, and program communications.
  • Support employer outreach and partnership communications.
  • Maintain professional, timely, and empathetic communication throughout the candidate journey.
  • Assist with webinars, presentations, outreach events, and community engagement activities.
(15%) Data Management, Reporting & Performance Tracking

This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools used to monitor program performance.
  • Compile monthly reports and summaries for leadership and funding partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to outreach, engagement, candidate activity, and program outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of program data.
  • Assist with reporting requirements for grants and organizational leadership.
(10%) Projects & Continuous Improvement

This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing priorities.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational meetings and events.
  • Recommend improvements based on data, user feedback, and operational observations.
  • Support special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field;
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated ability.
Knowledge, Skills, & Ability Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience creating digital content for social media and email marketing.
  • Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and technology.
  • Experience using or willingness to learn AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies) to improve productivity, communication, research, and workflow efficiency while exercising sound judgment and verifying outputs.
  • Ability to analyze information and recommend practical improvements.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
  • Professionalism, cultural competence, and sound judgment when working with diverse communities.

Other Requirements
  • Appropriate availability consistent with organization established practices and norms; hours not to exceed 40 hours per week without prior supervisor authorization;

Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to move up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an air-conditioned, smoke-free office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position occasionally may require regional travel; no overnight travel is anticipated.
