Job summary

Zimmer Biomet's Program Development Specialist role partners with hospital stakeholders and implant teams to onboard and drive system utilization of ZB products, especially the ROSA One Brain System.

You will train surgeons and staff, develop support plans with administrators, provide on-site product demonstrations, perform installations and maintenance, and promote customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years field support or customer-facing role in a medical device company preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work without specific direction on daily activities.
  • Ability to determine one’s own schedule based on business needs.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to solve varied and complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead surgical teams through training pathways designed to educate and train surgeons, staff, and administrators on ZB systems/products.
  • Using available tools/resources/materials, develop support plans with hospital administrators, surgeons, and staff to launch, promote, and develop robotic programs.
  • Provide on site support for product demonstrations and educational initiatives to build local and regional market awareness.
  • Perform new system installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and repair for installed ZB systems/products following established processes.
  • Follow all internal communication and documentation policies (QA).
  • Responsible for key administration duties.
  • Promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction through the timely response of customer inquiries, clear and effective communications, and professional appearances.
  • Attend product trade shows and annual trainings as required.
  • Provides support for MedEd events as required.

What You Can Expect

The Program Development Specialist builds successful programs by aligning with key Hospital and Facility stakeholders (including surgeons, OR and other facility staff as necessary), sales colleagues, and local implant teams to onboard and subsequently drive system utilization of ZB products (focusing mainly on the ROSA One Brain System).

Your Background
  • B.S. in Engineering or M.S/Ph.D in Neuro or Biological Science with 2+ years experience of field support, engineering, or other customer facing function with a medical device company preferred.
  • Equivalent years of experience and education will be considered.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and customer relation skills
  • Ability to work without specific direction on daily activities
  • Ability to determine one’s own schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to solve varied and complex problems, potentially ones not previously encountered

expected annual salary $85,000 - $95,000 + annual bonus
