Job summary

SageSure is hiring a Program Design Manager in the Tampa area to lead a distributed team and drive clarity in business requirements for new commercial carriers, products, and coverages. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and other functions to ensure initiatives meet business objectives.

The role emphasizes coaching, stakeholder collaboration, and expert guidance on policy processes, with travel approximately 10–15% annually. A strong background in Commercial insurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Risk Management).
• 8+ years in insurance, underwriting or product development, preferably commercial.
• Experience in project management and with technology concepts.
• Experience documenting business requirements and process flows.
• Expertise in quoting and policy administration.
• Willingness to travel ~10–15% annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team with coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
• Foster an engaged, inclusive, high-performing culture across remote, hybrid, and in-office team members.
• Clarify project scope and objectives with stakeholders for new carrier implementations and product launches.
• Document detailed business requirements aligning business needs with operations and technology.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of process flows, requirements, and implementation plans.
• Build partnerships across business, tech, and operations teams; collaborate on feasibility and dependencies.
• Provide clear communication to stakeholders and senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Lead change management and go-to-market activities for new products and processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Commercial business processes and operational impacts.
