Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements: 8+ years in engineering, preconstruction, manufacturing, construction, project management, or related technical fields; or a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in related roles.
• Travel requirement: 10-30% of time; standard work schedule with potential variations to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams from program pursuit through design completion and transition to execution.
• Coordinate design-phase stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and internal teams, while helping maintain design schedules and deliverables.
• Assist with development of design solutions from concept through detailed engineering documentation.
• Support standardization and product evolution across programs by documenting lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate design activities across engineering, BIM, manufacturing, and operations under Program Design Manager.
• Collaborate with estimating, procurement, and engineering to gather cost impacts and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist with team budget tracking, estimate support, and cost-impact documentation.
• Track design progress, changes, open items, actions, and risks; maintain single Source-of-Truth for requirements.
• Support alignment between design intent, manufacturing capabilities, and constructability.
• Assist with transition from design into program execution by organizing documentation and handoff activities.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
