Job summary

Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation (AVLF) is seeking a Program Data & Reporting Coordinator to support program data management, reporting, and grant compliance. You will work with Programs, Development, Finance, and AVLF teams to ensure data quality, support reporting, and strengthen data collection practices.

The role involves designing Salesforce reports, training staff, and coordinating data for grant proposals and external reporting in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce reports & dashboards (NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud preferred).
  • At least two years in program data, grant reporting, nonprofit operations, or related area.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication of data and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with staff at varying levels of technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of program data in Salesforce.
  • Conduct routine data quality reviews and coordinate corrections.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for program and organizational reporting.
  • Analyze data trends and support program evaluation and decision-making.
  • Identify data quality issues and suggest improvements to data collection and reporting processes.
  • Provide Salesforce training and ongoing support to staff.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce procedures and data documentation.
  • Assist Finance with Salesforce/accounting reconciliation and data projects.
  • Coordinate program data for grant proposals, reports, and funder communications.
  • Review grant agreements to identify metrics, deliverables, and reporting deadlines.
  • Work with Grants Manager to collect and report data for new and existing grants.
  • Ensure metrics are accurate, documented, and traceable to source data.
  • Monitor data-related grant deliverables and flag gaps before deadlines.
  • Support client follow-up and outcome surveys for reporting and evaluation.

Position Summary

The Program Data & Reporting Coordinator supports AVLF's program data management, reporting, and grant compliance efforts. Reporting to the Program Data & Evaluation Manager, this position helps ensure that program data is accurate, consistent, and accessible and can be effectively used for grant reporting, program evaluation, organizational decision-making, and external reporting.

The position works collaboratively with Programs, Development, Finance, and other Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation (AVLF) teams to maintain data quality, support reporting requirements, and strengthen AVLF's data collection and reporting practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of program data within Salesforce.
  • Conduct routine data quality reviews, including identifying duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records and coordinating necessary corrections.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to support program, management, and organizational reporting needs.
  • Analyze program data, trends, and outcomes and provide information to support program evaluation and organizational decision-making.
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to data collection, entry, and reporting processes.
  • Provide Salesforce training, technical assistance, and ongoing support to AVLF staff.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce procedures, training materials, and data process documentation.
  • Support cross-functional data needs, including assisting Finance with Salesforce/accounting reconciliation and other data-related projects.
  • Partner with the Development team to prepare, maintain, and validate program data used in grant proposals, reports, and other funder communications.
  • Review grant agreements, reporting requirements, and related documentation to identify and track program metrics, deliverables, and reporting deadlines.
  • Work with the Senior Grants Manager and program staff to coordinate data collection and reporting requirements for new and existing grants.
  • Ensure reported program metrics are accurate, consistent, well-documented, and traceable to source data.
  • Monitor data-related grant deliverables and identify potential gaps or inconsistencies prior to reporting deadlines.
  • Support organizational client follow-up and outcome surveys, including tracking completion and compiling results for reporting and evaluation.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce reports & dashboards, preferably NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud.
  • At least two years of experience in program data, grant reporting, nonprofit operations, database management, or a related area.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including experience organizing, manipulating, and analyzing data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate data and reporting requirements to different audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with employees at varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate data requirements clearly, follow up on outstanding information, and work collaboratively with staff to resolve data quality and reporting issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a nonprofit, legal services, or mission-driven organization.
  • Experience supporting grant reporting, compliance, or program evaluation.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations or related platforms such as Zapier, Form Assembly, Conga Composer, Confluence, RingCentral, Outlook for Salesforce, Inbox, or Golden Volunteer Management.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
