Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA seeks a Program Controls Financial Analyst to support forecasting, cost/schedule analysis, and EVM-related activities on defense programs. This onsite role requires US citizenship and eligibility for a DoD clearance.

A strong FP&A background and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will coordinate EACs, prepare management reports, and maintain program logs while partnering with Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a related advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. Citizenship or eligibility for a DoD security clearance; ability to obtain clearance Day 1.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning activities.
  • Cost and schedule analysis.
  • Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Program Teams and Leads.
  • Prepare financial charts for Program Management Reviews and reporting.
  • Perform cost, schedule, financial analysis and reporting and funding planning using standard tools.
  • Implement and maintain Earned Value Management processes.
  • Support development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Establish and maintain program logs, including Work Authorization, Contract Modification Logs, and Risks & Opportunities.

  • Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
  • Support the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Establish and maintain program logs, including Work Authorization, Contract Modification Logs, and Risks & Opportunities (R&Os).
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain, in program development and execution.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, Day 1 with the ability to obtain program access after start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience using SAP financial tools or systems.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience with manufacturing or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving program or financial issues.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting established deadlines.
  • Experience implementing process improvements.
  • Experience communicating financial and program information to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Prior Program Controls experience.
  • Active security clearance.
