Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a senior finance professional to lead program controls and FP&A for multiple programs. You will develop forecasts, support proposals, and manage a team of analysts to ensure accurate financials and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Experience in Financial Planning and Program Controls.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Lead a team of 6+ program control analysts.
• Participate in multi-project proposal reviews and kickoff reviews.

Location & Security

Location: Tucson, AZ. U.S. citizenship required; Active and transferable DoD Secret Clearance required on day 1.

Responsibilities

• Provide key recommendations to senior team members based on analysis that enhances value for all stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain EVMS; innovate the implementation of RMD practices, policies & standards to meet customer requirements with minimal tool support.
• Develop monthly forecasts, AOP & LRP in partnership with functional partners, providing tactical support of forecasts and plans using tools such as RPlan, SAP, BW, and Excel.
• Meet internal & external deliveries with flawless work product and provide predictable financial forecasts.
• Brief program & finance key team members in advance of resolution making.
• Provide financial strategies in proposals & contract negotiations, including fee and favorable criteria to drive a fair assessment of Raytheon’s work.
• Serve as finance delegate for proposals, gate reviews, and lead strategic discussions with the program regarding profit.
• Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools and processes.
• Lead and develop a team of 6+ program control analysts.
• Participate in multiple simultaneous proposal efforts and serve as key stakeholder in proposal reviews and program kickoff reviews.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Earned Value Management, delivering IPMDAR & CSDR.
• Experience in the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process across various government contract types.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of administration both verbally and in written form, framing and interpreting issues for Senior Management.
• Comfortable in a highly visible position; organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, administration and peers.
• Experience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implementing positive change.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
