Raytheon is seeking a Program Cost Controls Analyst to join the AIM-9X program Finance team in Tucson. The role focuses on financial operations, oversight of contracts, and collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure cost control and accurate forecasts.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and interact with various management levels while learning quickly in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with desktop computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the production program team to support the 2nd Sourcing efforts with financial oversight and guidance (EACs, forecasts, manpower).
  • Forecast and review Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash with Financial Planning.
  • EV reporting, cost-type cash forecasting, CDRLs, and IPMRs responsibilities.
  • Support contract negotiations, definitization, and baseline development for the production effort.
  • Assist with AIM-9X production weekly/monthly reporting and updates to the AOP and forecasts.
  • Interface with Control Account Managers and Program Management to ensure financial policy compliance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams with financial implications of decisions and share finance knowledge.
  • Work independently and with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Program Cost Controls Analyst professional to join our AIM-9X program Finance team. The AIM-9X program falls within the Naval Power Mission Area and has annual revenue nearing $1B of domestic and international business with exciting opportunities for future growth. In this role, you will be responsible for financial operations, collaboration, and relationship building with internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being challenged. Additionally the candidate will enjoy a fast-paced working environment managing competing priorities and interact with various levels of management.

What You Will Do
  • The successful candidate will be responsible to partner with the production program team specifically supporting the 2nd Sourcing effort. The individual will contribute to the successful execution of contracts by providing critical financial oversight and guidance that includes quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) support, contract financial forecasts and manpower forecasts.
  • Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash forecast to Financial Planning.
  • Responsibilities will also include EV reporting, cost type cash forecasting, CDRLs, and IPMRs.
  • This is a unique experience to support contractual earned value as well as be part of a production team. This effort is currently undefinitized so there is opportunity to be part of contract negotiations, definitization, and developing the initial baseline.
  • Outside supporting the 2nd Sourcing effort, the successful candidate will have opportunities to assist with AIM-9X production weekly/monthly reporting, Quarterly EACs, updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting and ad hoc requests.
  • Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions.
  • The successful candidate for this role will employ their technical knowledge of finance and program controls, problem solving, communication and leadership skills. The candidate will work independently as well as partner cross-functionally with their program team in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
