Job summary

James Madison University is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead the PREIS grant-funded program, based in IIHHS and SexEdVA. The role oversees planning, day-to-day grant activities, and collaborations with multiple sites within Virginia to promote adolescent health education.

The position is grant-funded and requires strong leadership, grant-writing ability, and experience working with youth, families, and community partners. Employment contingent on funding and background checks.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience working with youth and facilitating youth programming.
• Experience managing teams and supervising employees.
• Ability to write grants and research funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership for JMUPREIS and coordinate grant-compliance activities.
• Oversee relationships with fourteen implementation sites and budget management.
• Supervise program staff and assist the Program Manager with facilitator observations.
• Conduct support calls with partner sites and ensure adherence to curriculum and grant requirements.
• Support grant research and development to sustain SexEdVA programs.
