Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) seeks a Program Coordinator to provide administrative and programmatic support for the Suicide CPR Initiative in Bethesda, MD. The role covers budget, space, personnel, contracts, and purchasing, with on-site work four days per week, under supervision.

The SCPR Initiative collaborates with USUHS and other DoD partners. The Program Coordinator will support research operations in the Medical and Clinical Psychology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 0-2 years experience required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a T1/Public Trust background check.
  • Knowledge of the federal budget process and office automation.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and good communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the administrative and programmatic coordination of multiple federally funded research projects, tracking timelines and deliverables.
  • Assists with coordination of research operations including onboarding/offboarding, purchasing, travel, and meeting logistics.
  • Monitors milestones, reporting deadlines, and regulatory requirements; prepares status updates and assists with progress reports and grant documents.
  • Provides administrative support such as hiring, purchasing, and progress tracking.
  • Serves as liaison between investigators, staff, offices, subcontractors, and collaborators; facilitates communication and schedules meetings.
  • Assists with budget administration by tracking expenditures and supporting forecasting and reporting.
  • Maintains organized project records and tracking systems; assists with grant applications, publications, audits, and documentation.
  • Assists with regulatory and compliance activities by maintaining IRB submissions and approvals, training, and study documentation.
  • May perform other duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
