Job Summary
The program coordinator, student organizations, supports thedevelopment, engagement, and success of Lindenwood University’sstudent organizations and their student leaders. The position workscollaboratively with campus partners to strengthen studentinvolvement and leadership opportunities while ensuring studentorganizations operate in alignment with University policies.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Supports the day-to-day operations and engagement of studentorganizations, serving as primary contact for routine questions,organizational needs, and University processes
- Maintains accurate student organization records, includingofficer rosters, constitutions, bylaws, and required documentationwithin the University’s student engagement platform
- Coordinates the registration, re-registration, and ongoingadministrative processes for registered student organizations
- Advises student organization leaders on organizationaloperations, leadership development, event planning, Universitypolicies and procedures, and available campus resources
- Serves as an advisor to student organization without adesignated faculty/staff advisor to provide interim support
- Serves as an event consultant for student organizations,coaching student leaders through event planning, logistics, riskmanagement, and University processes
- Coordinates and supports student engagement initiativesincluding involvement fairs and other programs that promote studentorganization visibility and participation
- Coordinates and supports the implementation and assessment ofthe Lion Leadership Experience designed to strengthen leadershipand organizational effectiveness
- Evaluates student organization and engagement initiatives andrecommends improvements based on student needs, assessment data,emerging trends, and best practices
- Promotes adherence to University policies and procedures andlocal, state, and federal regulation
Service Excellence
- Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture ofservice excellence
- Models, supports, and holds others accountable to theUniversity’svalues
- Supports Lindenwood students by providing programming thatallows for student development outside of the classroom
- Demonstrates commitment to the holistic development of diversestudent populations
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
- Participates in collaborative planning for campus-wide events,such as New Student Orientation, Family Day, and Homecoming
- Collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and externalvendors to complete tasks
- Assists other areas of Student Involvement with eventcoordination and execution
- Assists with development and execution of department-wideplans, goals, and assessments undefined

Required Qualifications
An equivalent combination ofeducation, training, and experience will be considered. Additionalrequirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as education, studentaffairs, human resource management, or business
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a leadership role, preferablyin student activities, programming, or related area
- Master’s degree preferred
