Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of our residential program. You will optimize scheduling, supervise staff, and ensure health, safety, and well‑being of individuals served, coordinating activities and service plans.

This role involves budgeting, coordinating transportation, and implementing procedures with the team, while promoting an inclusive, trauma‑informed work culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or related field.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities, required.
• Supervisory experience, required.

• Facilitate weekly staff meeting, participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.

Job description

Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Every individual in an Open Sky residential program is encouraged to play an active role in community life, whether it be by volunteering, taking classes, participating in group outings, or joining a health club. Our dedicated staff ensures that individuals have the necessary supports and skills to build a successful and satisfying life in the community and enable the individuals we serve to lead meaningful and active lives.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. They ensure there is optimum program coverage through developing and monitoring the program schedule as well as develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of individuals served. The Program Coordinator will also coordinate with the team to facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities, service plans and support staff with medical and medication protocols.

Other Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or Social Services related field, or equivalent required. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities, required. Experience within human services field. preferred.
• Supervisory experience, required.

Pay Range

$26.00/Hr. - $29.23/Hr.
