Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations, monitor schedules, and ensure health and safety standards for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will coordinate with teams to implement service plans and medical protocols, and supervise counselors to maintain effective program delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities is required, experience in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day operations of the program and ensure optimum coverage.
• Develop and monitor program schedules and procedures for health, safety, and well-being.
• Coordinate activities, service plans, and support staff with medical and medication protocols.
• Provide goal-oriented supervision to counselors and facilitate staff meetings.
• Assist people to access and/or provide transportation as needed.

Every individual in an Open Sky residential program is encouraged to play an active role in community life, whether it be by volunteering, taking classes, participating in group outings, or joining a health club. The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. They ensure there is optimum program coverage through developing and monitoring the program schedule as well as develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served. The Program Coordinator will also coordinate with the team to facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities, service plans and support staff with medical and medication protocols.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Provide goal-oriented supervision to Counselors
• Facilitate weekly staff meeting, participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.
• Manage program budget
• Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served.
• Assist people to access, and/or provide, all needed transportation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or Social Services related field, or equivalent required. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities, required. Experience within human services field. preferred.
• Supervisory experience, required.
