Job summary

Harvard Kennedy School’s Social Innovation and Change Initiative seeks a Program Coordinator to lead the execution of the Social Innovation Fellows Program and Beck VSI program, coordinating sessions, workshops, and educational experiences. The role requires collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and practitioners to advance social innovation.

Responsibilities include recruitment, communications, coaching, evaluation, and strategic input.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with educational program delivery, project management, or related administrative responsibilities.
• Availability required: 2 evenings/week and 1 weekend/semester.
• Demonstrates ability and enthusiasm for coaching and guiding social changemakers around SICI's educational content.
• Strong communication in written and spoken English; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to prioritize needs and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive coordination of Social Innovation Fellows Program and Beck VSI programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and document all aspects of program delivery.
• Coordinate with teaching teams and guest faculty on content delivery.
• Support coaching meetings with Beck VSIs and others.
• Track, organize, and analyze program outcomes to inform improvements.
• Uphold cultural norms as a SICI culture ambassador.
• Occasional travel required.
• Build positive relationships with students, alumni, staff and Harvard partners.
• Contribute insights to SICI's strategic priorities and pedagogy.
