Sherman Lake YMCA's School Camping Integrated Education program seeks a Program Coordinator to lead and deliver outdoor, character-based programming, guiding instructors and serving as the primary contact for teachers and campers.
You will coordinate overnight and day groups, mentor staff, ensure safety, and foster youth development in a beautiful outdoor setting. This seasonal, full-time role includes on-site housing, free certification opportunities, YMCA membership, and pro-deal benefits.
As an Program Coordinator for our School Camping (“Integrated Education”) program, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering Sherman Lake YMCA’s award-winning school camping program. You’ll help students grow socially and emotionally through impactful experiential learning while guiding and supporting instructors and serving as a primary contact for teachers and campers.
Lead and shape quality outdoor, character-based programming.
Develop leadership, coaching, and professional facilitation skills.

Work in a beautiful outdoor environment with diverse learners.
Coordinate and lead overnight and day school groups.
Support and mentor I.E. instructors through coaching and feedback.
Serve as a key contact with partner teachers and school representatives.
Maintain student and staff safety with professional and vigilant supervision.
Facilitate activities like welcoming ceremonies, meals, team building, and more.
$95+/day - pending on certifications and internal experience

This is a seasonal, full-time position. Positions are available during the Fall (early September - early December) and Winter/Spring (early February - early June). Free certification courses are available for Sherman Lake Integrated Education staff before staff training.
