Job summary

Envision Unlimited in Chicago, IL, seeks a compassionate Program Coordinator (QIDP) to design meaningful experiences and connect members with resources. You will collaborate with families and staff to reflect individual goals and promote independence within Community Day Services.

Key duties include planning activities, advocating for member goals, coordinating daily programming, supervising staff, and supporting access to benefits and community resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field is preferred (not required).
  • One year of full-time related work experience.

  • Partner with members to plan activities that bring joy, growth, and community connection.
  • Support members’ voices in all planning meetings and advocate for their goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily programming both at the center and in the community.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure quality support and person-centered care.
  • Assist members in accessing benefits, services, employment, and advocacy resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while keeping the focus on member choice.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support program success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related social service field preferred (not required).
  • One year of full-time related work experience.

Preferred: Must be able to meet qualifications of QIDP - (Have at least (1) one year of verifiable experience working in Social Services.)
