Under the direction of the Dean of Students, Veterans and Military Resources partners with deans, academic units, the Undergraduate Student Government, the Graduate Student Government, and University governance on recruitment and retention, and program review to continually improve the quality of graduate and undergraduate education at DU.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator will administratively support the Office of Veterans and Military Resources. The Program Coordinator will supervise work-study staff, supporting maximum office coverage during business hours. The Program Coordinator will lead work-study staff supporting our GI Bill users and coordinate events throughout the year. The Program Coordinator will demonstrate a commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion through involvement and participation in university/division-wide professional development opportunities.
This part-time, non-benefited position will work up to 20 hours a week. The Veterans and Military Resources Program Coordinator is a part-time position that will be funded for three years. With the potential to go beyond, should funding be identified. This position reports directly to the Director of Veterans and Military Resources.
The Program Coordinator supports, coordinates, and participates in VMR functions such as weekly meetings, GI Bill User orientation program, DU Veterans Hockey Night, DU Veterans Ball, etc., and events and trainings through the SAIE division. The Program Coordinator attends staff and supervision meetings and professional development opportunities.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for the position is $21.00-$22.00.
