Responsibilities

• Deliver subject matter instruction in the Shelby Automotive Institute.
• Manage daily program operations, including scheduling and lab supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Enforce safety protocols and college risk management policies
• Support faculty in preparing labs, demonstrations, and instructional activities
• Monitor faculty adherence to curriculum requirements and student learning outcomes
• Track and record student tool usage, shop participation, and compliance with lab procedures
• Coordinate with faculty on vehicle preparation for instructional use
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, parts, and vehicles, and report needs to the Director
• Incorporate OSHA certifications into the curriculum
• Oversee work-study students, lab assistants, and volunteers
• Provide regular updates to the Director regarding program operations, safety, and instructional support needs
• Supports students, faculty, and the program at public events (car shows, Carroll Shelby Automotive PR events, etc.)
