Job summary

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams is seeking a Program Coordinator for Gender and Sexuality within Student Affairs. The role focuses on supporting female-identifying students and LGBTQ+ communities, developing campus-wide programs, and advancing women's rights and gender equity.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, coordinating events such as Pride Month and Women’s History Month, advising student groups, and managing student staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience developing programs for LGBTQ+ students.
• Ability to work with diverse campus communities.
• Experience in program management and fiscal stewardship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise student staff and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement programs promoting women's rights and gender equality.
• Develops and implements college-wide awareness programs about LGBTQ+ identities.
• Plans, develops and coordinates cross-campus programming on gender equity and related issues.
• Assist in the development of policies that affirm human dignity and cultural pluralism.
• Provide case management support for a cohort of students.
• Lead LGBTQ+, multicultural programming events and collaborations.
• Advise clubs and organizations as needed.
• Manage day-to-day operations of student staff.
