Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) is hiring a Program Coordinator for Gender and Sexuality. The role focuses on supporting, mentoring, and guiding female-identifying students and LGBTQ+ students, with programming for LGBTQ+, gender equity, and women's rights.

The position contributes to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work in Student Affairs. The coordinator will report to the Director for Student Engagement, supervise student staff, and collaborate with MERC’s Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience developing/programs for LGBTQ+ inclusive initiatives.
• Knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues and intersectionality.
• Experience designing and implementing diverse student programming.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement programs to promote women’s rights and gender equality.
• Educate the campus on LGBTQ+ identities and issues.
• Coordinate cross-campus programming on gender equity and LGBTQ+ topics.
• Provide case management and mentorship for a student cohort.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of student staff and supervision.
