Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to support the Partner Services Vendor Management team. You will focus on vendor contracting, oversight, and collaboration across programs, ensuring best-in-class processes and timely delivery.

In this role you will report to the Senior Manager, Vendor Management. The position requires strong communication, multi-project management, and healthcare program experience, with a hybrid in-office schedule two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires practical knowledge of vendor management typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Your Role

The Partner Services Vendor Management team leads vendor contracting and oversight for a portfolio of Healthcare Quality and Affordability programs. The Program Coordinator, Experienced will report to the Senior Manager, Vendor Management, Partner Services. In this role you will focus on vendor contracting and oversight, and you may have oversight responsibilities for one or more vendors. You will also support the Partner Services vendor management team in key projects, including the establishment of best-in-class vendor management and contracting processes.

Your Knowledge and Experience

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
