Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking an Experienced Program Coordinator for the Partner Services Vendor Management team. You will focus on vendor contracting and oversight across a portfolio of Healthcare Quality and Affordability programs, and may oversee one or more vendors.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid position involves in-office collaboration two days per week, with flexibility based on business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Requires 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires practical knowledge of vendor management typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Requires strong communication skills.
• Requires ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Vendor contracting and program or project management experience preferred.
• Medicare and Medi-Cal knowledge and experience preferred.

• Focus on vendor contracting and oversight.
• Possess oversight responsibilities for one or more vendors.
• Support key projects for the Partner Services vendor management team.
• Contribute to establishing best-in-class vendor management and contracting processes.
