Administers all finance, human resources, facilities, and other operational activities for small to mid-sized academic or research programs. Develops and organizes conferences and public forums. Works under the direction of the Principal Investigator or senior Academic Program Officer to establish the center's agenda, funding, and objectives.
The Roybal Lab and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy seek a Program Coordinator to support the development of advanced cellular therapies from drug candidate selection to clinical trials at UCSF. The role involves providing comprehensive academic, administrative, research, and analytical support to the Institute Director, focusing on cell therapy development and related projects. The program aims to enhance capabilities for high-throughput cell therapy design, streamline manufacturing, and facilitate clinical translation to impact patients.
This position manages the clinical development of cell therapies for solid tumors (e.g., osteosarcoma and leiomyosarcoma) and long-term projects within the Parker Institute and Roybal Lab. Responsibilities include formulating timelines, strategic goals, tracking critical data, managing third-party interactions, and overseeing budgets and resources.
An advanced degree in a related field and three years of related experience in cell therapy research or equivalent training are required. Familiarity with project management software is beneficial.
