Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead the Become a Teacher (BaT) Program in Fort Collins, CO. The role coordinates recruitment, onboarding, licensure progress, and university partnerships under a grant-funded model.

The coordinator will manage cohort learning, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring program integrity, data reporting, and ongoing support for educator preparation and retention.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a licensed educator in a public K-12 setting.
• Experience supporting, mentoring, coaching or developing educators.
• Experience working with educator preparation programs, alternative licensure pathways, licensure or recruitment.
• Experience developing or coordinating programs, professional learning or cohorts.
• Knowledge of Colorado educator licensure requirements and pathways.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the Become a Teacher Program and liaison among participants, universities and staff.
• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive application and selection process for the program.
• Provide ongoing individualized support and coaching to Become a Teacher participants.
• Develop monthly cohort meetings and professional learning opportunities.
• Coordinate mentoring, university partnerships, and field-experience supports.
• Collect, maintain and analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness and inform improvements.
• Coordinate program-related financial and administrative processes.
• Monitor participant progress toward program, academic and licensure requirements.
• Support program development, expansion and sustainability beyond the grant period.
• Attend work and maintain timely presence; perform other duties as assigned.
