YMCA of the USA is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to support the aquatics department through administrative and supervisory tasks. Under the Aquatics Director, you will help advance the mission and goals while ensuring safety and program quality.

The role requires Lifeguard certification and a Texas driver’s license; instructor certifications are preferred. Background checks and drug screening will be conducted.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 college credit hours or 24 months of qualifying experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and valid insurance.
• Lifeguard certification required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or YMCA Lifeguard preferred.
• Water Safety Instructor or YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor preferred.
• Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check.

The Aquatics Coordinator provides a multitude of administrative and supervisory duties that support the aquatics department, while professionally interacting with employees, management, members, and other business associates in an outgoing and courteous manner. Under the director of the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Coordinator will support the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA, while performing the essential duties and responsibilities listed below.

• High school diploma or GED, 6 college credit hours or 24 months of qualifying experience
• Must possess a valid Texas Drivers' License and valid insurance
• Lifeguard certification required
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or YMCA Lifeguard preferred
