• Certification: Swim Instructor certification or notable experience with YMCA Swim Lesson Program.

Job description

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Coordinator provides day-to-day support of aquatic classes, instructors and pool area to ensure aquatic staff members are providing high-quality,member-focused programs in a safety controlled environment.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• One to two years related experience, preferably as an Aquatics Coordinator
• Must possess Swim Instructor certification or possess notable experience with the YMCA Swim Lesson Program
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred, with a commitment to inclusion and belonging
• Strong communication skills with participants, parents/guardians, and YMCA members
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with other YMCA staff
