Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience leading global or domestic programs with budgets and schedules.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate program timelines across all functional groups and customers.
  • Plan activities to ensure on-time program launches and deliverables.
  • Monitor risks and issues and resolve where possible.
  • Manage and participate in program change control.
  • Coordinate resource requirements with functional managers.
  • Communicate manufacturing readiness requirements (EOL testers, equipment, torque).
  • Provide customer seat engineering testing requirements (H‑Point, torso angle, density).
  • Ensure BOM is up-to-date and drawings updated.
  • Remain flexible to changing responsibilities and workload.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Job Description

As a member of the Seating team, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of a program launch through strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and clear communication with internal and external disciplines. The individual will interact with cross‑functional teams and senior management on programs that have significant impact enterprise‑wide to ensure successful product launch.

Responsibilities
  • Manage program timelines by directing, coordinating, and communicating to all functional groups assigned to the program as well as customer functional groups and platform teams.
  • Conduct planning activities to ensure programs launch on time and meet deliverables.
  • Monitor timing, quality, scope, technical and financial risks, and issues on assigned program, resolving risks where possible.
  • Manage and participate in program change control.
  • Work with functional managers to communicate resource requirements and expectations.
  • Understand industrial engineering concepts to communicate both externally and internally on required manufacturing readiness (EOL testers, assembly equipment, torque requirements, etc.).
  • Provide customer seat engineering testing requirements (H‑Point, torso angle, seat density/hardness, etc.).
  • Ensure engineering BOM structure is at the latest level on release and all applicable technical drawings are updated accordingly.
  • Remain flexible to changing responsibilities and workload adjustments.
Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in the automotive industry within program management, account management, or sales.
  • Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment with limited supervision.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Demonstrated history in leading global or domestic programs with budget, timing, and cross‑functional team responsibility.
  • Must be highly organized and display excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Requirements
  • Automotive seating experience.
  • European OEM experience.
