Job summary

Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company) is seeking an experienced program management professional to support the Wildfire Mitigation Program within the GRC framework. The role focuses on coordinating customer engagement, data management, vendor oversight, and regulatory reporting for backup power initiatives in fire‑threat districts.

Responsibilities

• Manages small to medium‑sized projects within the department.
• Coordinates all activities leading to successful project completion including scoping, timelines, cost estimates, design and vendor management.
• Develops and maintains parameters for project requirements, including implementation plans, procedures, handbooks, product market analysis.
• Develops, maintains and enhances program data and reporting, leveraging multiple internal data sources and modern data tools.
• Responds to customer inquiries to inform on program information, and verifies customer eligibility information.
• Provides direction to contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Coordinates procurement activities for project‑related materials and services, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Identifies and escalates potential risks or issues impacting timelines or deliverables to stakeholders.
• Monitors project performance metrics and prepares status reports to ensure progress aligns with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

High Level Overview

This role supports programs within Wildfire Mitigation Program (WMP) which is part of the General Rate Case (GRC) and regulated by CA Office of Energy Safety (OEIS) and the CPUC. This role supports programs that implement backup power solutions for residential and non-residential customers in the high fire threat district, including the customer engagement, database management, vendor management and compliance/regulatory reporting. This role supports the team and program partners to effectively operate, improve and report on program parameters.

Day to Day

• Manages small to medium-sized projects within the department.
• Manages and coordinates all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, design and vendor management.
• Develops and maintains parameters for project requirements, including implementation plans, procedures, handbooks, product market analysis
• Develops, maintains and enhances program data and reporting, leveraging multiple internal data sources and utilizing modern data technology tools and practices
• Responds to customer inquiries to inform on program information, and verifies customer eligibility information.
