Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator to help lead daily program operations in the Philadelphia area. You will work with the Program Director to ensure compliant service delivery, oversee intake and enrollment, and support staff and data management.

The role emphasizes advocacy for youth and families, strong organization, and relationship-building across schools, homes, and community partners, with travel as needed to fulfill duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience supporting program operations, supervising staff, managing budgets, or coordinating services
  • Experience working with youth and families in community-based, school-based, or home-based settings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with EHR/case management systems is a plus
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus

Job description

Summary of the Position: Program Coordinator plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the Philadelphia program and ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery. Working closely with the Program Director, this position assists with program administration, staff support, participant intake and referral processes, and contract compliance activities.

The Program Coordinator serves as both an operational leader and direct service team member, helping ensure program goals are met while also providing advocacy services to youth and families.
