Job summary

LifeSTEPS is seeking a Director of Social Services/Program Coordinator in Elk Grove, CA, to empower residents through housing and supportive services. You will lead case management, coordinate resources and advocate for residents while collaborating with partners to implement programs.

This is a non-exempt, 32.5 hours per week role with a mission-driven nonprofit focus. Responsibilities include budgeting, strategic planning, data reporting, and community outreach to strengthen families, seniors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Two years of experience in social services with multi-family, senior and children.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute the degree.
• Non-profit background is a plus; valid CA driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, service coordination and resident advocacy.
• Coordinate community resources and monitor data collection and reporting.
• Plan and implement programs, budget management and strategic planning.
• Engage in public speaking, community outreach and partner relationship building.
