Sunnyside Community Services (SCS) is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and student-centered Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of the P.S. 199Q Elementary After-School Program. Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Coordinator plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality programming, maintaining compliance with DYCD, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) and SED requirements, supporting staff development, and fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for students and families.
The Program Coordinator assists with program implementation, staff supervision, student recruitment and retention, family engagement, data management, and special events. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and team player who is passionate about positive youth development and continuous program improvement.
