Job summary

Boone Memorial Health is seeking a Program Coordinator for Growing Futures @ Market on Main, a youth prevention and mentoring program in southern West Virginia. You will lead mentoring circles, develop life-skills programming, and manage partnerships with schools and community organizations.

You will recruit and supervise mentors, coordinate greenhouse activities, handle intake and attendance, and ensure grant compliance while tracking program outcomes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience working with youth in mentoring, education, prevention, or social services.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to complete background checks for working with minors.
• Experience coordinating community programs or grant-funded initiatives.
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly youth mentoring circles focusing on resilience and wellbeing.
• Plan and facilitate educational and life skills programming.
• Coordinate mentors and volunteers; hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Build partnerships with schools, juvenile justice and community organizations.
• Coordinate transportation, supplies, and events; support grant documentation.
• Monitor outcomes and maintain records and reports for grants.

Help Shape the Future of Our YouthBoone Memorial Health is seeking a passionate, organized, and mission-driven Program Coordinator to lead Growing Futures @ Market on Main, an innovative youth prevention and mentoring program serving at-risk youth ages 8–13 in southern West Virginia.This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping young people build resilience, confidence, and life skills through mentoring, education, and hands-on greenhouse experiences.Please Note: This is a full-time, grant-funded position currently funded for one year.
