The Program Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director and workswith the Director to run the First-Year Seminar Program, enrolling1300 first-year students in 120+ seminars taught by faculty from 14Harvard schools.
Serves as a key member of this team, the Program Coordinatorprovides Program support and coordinates daily operations for theoffice and its seminars, including triaging the office inbox,event/travel planning, ordering any supplies needed for seminars,classroom scheduling and AV/IT support (e.g., Canvas sites andAV/IT support in the Program’s Seminar room).
The work schedule and location will be set by the department at itsdiscretion and based upon operational needs and objectives andconsistent with College Policy, which requires 5 days on-site inCambridge, MA during term time (first day of classes throughcommencement), with the exception of student breaks. When notworking at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees inhybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state incompliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts .Additional details about the College policy will be discussedduring the interview process. Certain visa types and fundingsources may limit work location. Individuals must meet worklocation sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
