The Rio Grande Water Conservation District (RGWCD) is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Program Coordinator to support water resources administration, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination for the District’s Groundwater Management Subdistricts. This position is best suited for individuals who excel in working directly with producers, supporting water‑administration activities, coordinating field operations, and assisting with the interpretation and application of Colorado water regulations. Primary emphasis is placed on strong, sound judgment, clear and effective public communication, and practical, hands‑on coordination to support and complete District projects.
This position includes a mix of office work—communication,, reporting, and coordination—and periodic fieldwork involving site visits, inspections, and producer coordination.
