Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Program Controls Specialist II to manage scheduling, cost management, risk assessment and reporting at the Glendale, AZ site on a hybrid schedule. You will lead technical cost/schedule decisions, drive program performance, and support fast-paced propulsion programs.

Responsibilities include developing program plans, tracking budgets and milestones, publishing metrics, and applying Earned Value Management principles with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or program management is a plus.

As a Program Controls Specialist II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will manage scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You'll build a strong team, drive retention, and foster an inclusive culture. You’ll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace Propulsion. You will be the technical leader and be a decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will prioritize your work, design goals and objectives, and drive program performance. The role will support a fast-paced programs within Propulsion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports program launch and program execution
  • Supports development of program plans
  • Prepare and publish metrics and reports
  • Track budget and program financial data
  • Track milestones and identify root cause
  • Analyze program performance metrics
  • Analyze cost and schedule integration
  • Develop EVM (Earned Value Management) Knowledge and Apply to Program
  • Supports program teams and stakeholders
  • Supports organizational feedback for utilized tools and process efficiencies
  • Complete required certification and application training
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
