Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC seeks a Program Controls Specialist III (Finance) to join a team delivering program analysis, cost baselines, and EVM compliance for large programs across sites. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with Integrated program teams and customers to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 4 + year's experience EVM (Earned Value Management).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Experience in EV metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity.
• Ability to influence program stakeholders at varying levels across the organization.
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for topic and audience.
• User experience of SAP system.
• Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management.
• Project Management certification.
• Cost Reporting Generation: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR.
• External Integrated Master Schedule Reporting: MS Project, SSI Tool.

Responsibilities

• Leads or supports development of initial program baselines, baselines/re-baselines and baseline change management.
• Prepares and analyzes reliable cost report data for program stakeholders.
• Responsible for program EAC (estimate at completion) management.
• Ensures cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirements.
• Proactively communicates with program team and customers.
• Responsible for reliable EVM application, compliance and procedures.
• Supports CAMs in monthly cost and schedule reviews and drives EACs and variance analysis.
• Initiates and participates in organizational and program improvements.
• Mentors other team members.

Program Controls Spec III (Finance)

Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with the Integrated program team to develop program plans, create cost and schedule baselines for large complex programs across multiple sites. You will recommend improvement actions for process and tool implementation and will interact with global program management Team, Business leaders and customers. You will coach and mentor Program Control Specialist with less experience to improve their skills and capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads or supports the development of initial program baselines, program re-baselines and compliant baseline change management
• Prepares and analyzes reliable cost report data for program stakeholders\
• Responsible for program EAC (estimate at completion) management \
• Ensures cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirements\
• Proactively and effectively communicates with program team and customers
• Responsible for reliable program EVM (earned value management) application, compliance and procedures
• Actively supports program issue identification, root cause, impact analysis and recommends corrective actions
• Actively supports CAMs in monthly cost and schedule reviews and drives complete and accurate EACs and variance analysis
• Initiates and participates in organizational and program improvements
• Mentors other team members

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 4 + year's experience EVM (Earned Value Management)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
