Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Program Controls Specialist I to oversee scheduling, cost management and risk reporting. External hires start with 90 days onsite before a hybrid 3/2 schedule; internal hires follow a 3/2 hybrid pattern.

You will lead program cost, schedule and technical decisions within Propulsion and work with cross-functional teams to ensure goals are met. Ideal candidates have strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills, and experience with SAP and MS

Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to read, write and speak English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • Supports program launch and program execution.
  • Supports development of program plans.
  • Prepare and publish metrics and reports.
  • Track budget and program financial data.
  • Track milestones and identify root causes.
  • Analyze program performance metrics.
  • Analyze cost and schedule integration.
  • Develop Earned Value Management knowledge and apply to program.
  • Support program teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist with tools and process improvements.
  • Complete required certification and training.
  • Maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

As a Program Controls Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will play a role in managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Sr Program Controls Manager, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. External hires begin with 90 days onsite before transitioning to a hybrid 3/2 schedule. Internal hires will work a 3/2 hybrid schedule. Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace Propulsion You will be the technical leader and be a decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will prioritize your work, design goals and objectives, and drive program performance. The role will support a fast-paced programs within Propulsion.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
