Job summary

Xcimer Energy, based in Denver, CO, seeks a Program Planning and Controls Specialist to drive scheduling, documentation, and KPI-driven performance across the IFE program. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure milestones are met and costs are tracked efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in project controls or coordination, and 3+ years with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 3+ years of related experience may substitute for degree
• 5+ years in project coordination, project controls, or similar in engineering/manufacturing
• 3+ years hands-on Oracle Primavera P6 experience with resource-loaded schedules
• Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive challenge management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Technical acumen with understanding of hardware development processes and product lifecycles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or approved asylum/refugee status per requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation for complex IFE program projects
• Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to align activities with program objectives
• Manage schedules, track milestones, and report progress using Jira and other PM tools
• Monitor and analyze release metrics to evaluate performance against milestones and escalate issues
• Track costs against budget and provide regular cost reporting to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain cost forecasts and estimates at completion; analyze variances and escalate risks
• Coordinate with finance on program forecasting, inputting schedule, resources, and procurement data
• Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to resolve issues and support execution
