Job summary

Xcimer Energy is seeking a Program Planning and Controls Specialist for its Directed Energy program in Denver, CO. You will coordinate with engineers, manufacturing, and partners to maintain schedules, baselines, and KPI reporting, ensuring milestones are met.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, 5+ years in project coordination, and solid experience with project controls and schedule management tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project coordination, project controls, administration, or similar role in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive approach.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the program schedule and baseline for the Directed Energy program.
• Develop and track WBS, schedule, and budget; report cost and schedule performance.
• Maintain milestone and KPI reporting with element leads.
• Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and interfaces with external partners and vendors.
• Develop program reporting aligned with company standards.
• Support complex engineering project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
