Job summary

COLSA is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support UAS programs in Madison, AL. You will work with program leadership and cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and scheduling to drive informed decisions.

The role involves developing budgets, cost projections, dashboards, and reports, while monitoring costs and performance against plans. Collaboration across finance, operations, and technical teams is essential to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Program Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of related experience in accounting, program controls, project controls, program finance, financial analysis, program management support, business operations, or a related function.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, financial analysis, scheduling, and program performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational information, identify trends and issues, and translate information into practical insights for program leadership.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple and changing priorities, and effectively coordinate across program, technical, operational, and business functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports program leadership with planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Develops and maintains program budgets, forecasts, financial projections, resource plans, and other planning information with functional teams.
• Monitors program costs, schedules, and performance against plans and identifies trends, variances, risks, and attention areas.
• Tracks labor, materials, equipment, travel, purchasing, and other costs and resource requirements for planning and analysis.
• Maintains program data, planning information, and reporting tools per company processes.
• Provides timely analysis of cost, schedule, resource, and performance information to support informed decisions.
