Job summary

You will partner with program managers and cross-functional teams to ensure sound program financial management throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong analytical capability, financial acumen, and effective communication of insights to stakeholders. Onsite at our Huntsville corporate office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in program controls, financial analysis, and government contracting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, analytical tools).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process contract modifications; manage ceilings and funding.
• Review, audit, and manage program and personnel assignments per project.
• Assist with responses to funding requests and pricing drills.
• Lead development and maintenance of program budgets and spend plans.
• Prepare and manage monthly financial forecasts and projections.
• Perform detailed cost variance analysis across categories.
• Monitor funding status; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support startup activities and ensure appropriate financial structures.
• Provide financial inputs to proposals and pricing; suggest process improvements.
• Mentor junior staff as appropriate.
