Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain data trackers and ensure weekly updates.
• Populate panel data.
• Monitor FCYM Instagram and JSSA email; respond or escalate as needed.
• Assist with advertising panels and events using Constant Contact and Canva.
• Support Youth Development Coordinator with sign-up forms and evaluations; assist in sending continuing education.

About the Role

This Program & Consumer Support Specialist will provide administrative and communications support, helping keep day-to-day operations of Fairfax County Youth MOVE organized and running smoothly. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to build skills in nonprofit and human services work. This position will report to the Director of Behavioral Health Support Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain data trackers — check weekly to ensure updated, and reach out to responsible parties to complete any outstanding data
• Populate panel data
• Monitor FCYM Instagram and JSSA email, responding to inquiries or looping in the appropriate parties as needed
• Assist with advertising panels and events using Constant Contact and Canva
• Support Youth Development Coordinator in creating sign-up forms and evaluations for panels, and in sending continuing education

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong computer skills — able to navigate or willing to learn Canva, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, and basic-to-intermediate Excel
• Highly organized
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in learning more about human services and nonprofit functioning is a plus

Schedule

Hybrid position Flexible work hours, outside of weekly supervision meetings and biweekly team meetings

Salary: $24.57 per hour
