Job summary

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking an Analyst II to support and lead local program compliance monitoring under IDEA Part C (Early Start) and to help ensure APR reporting requirements are met. The role involves providing technical assistance to CDE, LEAs, regional centers, family resource centers, and the Early Start community.

Hybrid in-office/telework is required, statewide travel may be needed, and California residency is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Part C of IDEA, SSIP, Lanterman Act, Early Start program, and the developmental disabilities service system.
• Excel and related applications for data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work with and lead staff in a team environment and to conduct analytical research.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support local program compliance monitoring activities under IDEA Part C and APR reporting.
• Provide technical assistance to local programs and interagency partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for the Early Start community and state departments on compliance matters.
